Mother’s Day memories: Art, flowers & fun together
This Mother’s Day, Filmworks Ealing hosted two wonderful workshops for mums and their families. Our floral bouquet workshop, led by an expert florist, allowed attendees to design and take home stunning hand-tied arrangements using fresh, seasonal flowers. The Mum & Me Art Hour provided a special painting session where professional artists guided mums and their little ones in creating colourful masterpieces, fostering beautiful memories and creative connection.
Our Easter Egg-stravaganza: Creative decorating & thrilling hunts
This Easter, we truly embraced the egg-citement! At our Easter Egg Decorating Workshop, kids went wild with creativity, designing their very own chocolate eggs with colourful icing and edible paints. Then we transformed into an adventure playground for our super popular Easter Egg Hunt! Colourful painted eggs, packed with prizes from amazing partners like Black Sheep Coffee, Kanada Ya, Bobo Social, and Picturehouse, were hidden everywhere from outdoor spots to our fantastic shops and restaurants. It was a day full of fun, delicious treats, and thrilling discoveries for everyone.
Droid Décor Workshop: Star Wars Day
To celebrate Star Wars Day, our young attendees jumped into our Droid Décor Workshop. This hands on session lets them design and customise their very own Star Wars inspired droid. With paints, stickers, and tons of creative bits, the kids truly brought their robotic sidekicks to life.
Plant and Pot market
Filmworks really bloomed for the Chelsea Flower Show with our Plant & Pot Market, thanks to our partnership with Stevens of Sibsey! Everyone got to explore a fantastic selection of indoor and outdoor plants, stylish pots, and grab some brilliant expert advice. It was the absolute perfect spot for plant lovers, gift seekers, or anyone just wanting to add a little more green to their place.
Dad Joke Central: Father’s Day Comedy Show
We wrapped up spring with a Father’s Day comedy gig presented by Healing Comedy Club. Guests enjoyed family friendly stand up and unlimited dad jokes right here in the heart of Filmworks. Best of all, every penny from the tickets went directly to SameYou, a charity doing vital work to improve brain injury recovery care and mental health outcomes for survivors and their families. It was a fantastic way to laugh for a great cause.
